Mogadishu,(insidesomalia.org)-The chairman of the alliance for the reliberation of Somalia sheikh Sharif sheikh Ahmed has expressed disapproval over the shelling of the main Bakara market on Thursday by the Ethiopian backed Somali troops.

“We are strappingly condemning what (massacre) happened in Bakara market, they idiotically shelled civilians were shopping in the market and worshippers at a mosque especially Abu-Hureyra mosque” Sharif said in a news conference in Djibouti” several mosques have previously been made military campgrounds and churches by the Ethiopians”

More than 20 people have been killed in the market after the Gov-Ethiopian troops shelled the market that is important daily life sources for millions of Somalis.

He added that it’s needed to fight against the Ethiopian troops but the finding the middle ground should have imperative role in the “Jihad”.

“You know that the world community that already rejected to talk to us is now talking to us, so we have to be peacemakers” sheikh Sharif added.

He added that they UIC are not involved the battles took place in Kismayo town that killed at least 70 people and injured 165 more.

“It’s an ill-fated while we are fighting the enemy we Somalis to fight each other, I am calling for my brothers to help out bringing to an end that deadly battles” he stated.

The fighting in Kismayo, 500 kilometres (300 miles) south of the capital Mogadishu, erupted late Wednesday.

Local resident Mohamed Abdi said four of the 10 known fatalities were civilians who were caught in the crossfire.

Ali Hasan, a doctor at Kismayo hospital, said that additional wounded in the fighting had been admitted for treatment since Wednesday.
